Ibanez Universe UV77MC Steve Vai Signature in MKR Multi Color finish made in 1990 with Original Hard Shell Case. This guitar features a solid basswood body, maple neck and rosewood fingerboard. Equipped with a pair of DiMarzio Blaze II humbuckers in the neck & bridge position with a DiMarzio Blaze II single coil in the middle position. Controlled by 1 volume pot, 1 tone pot and a 5-way blade switch with coil tap on positions 2 & 4. The 25.5" scale length neck has multi-color Disappearing Pyramids inlays and white side markers with 24 jumbo frets on a 430mm radius with a UV profile. The hardware is comprised of cosmo black Gotoh sealed die-cast tuning machines with cloche heads, a Top Lok III nut, an Ibanez Edge 7 Double Locking Tremolo bridge and green top hat knobs with a clear acrylic pickguard.
This guitar is in overall very good condition. The inside of the case and the guitar are both signed by Steve Vai. There are light surface marks and small dings throughout. The neck pocket has some small finish splits. The headstock has a couple of small dings. The plating on the bridge is worn. There are light marks on the pickguard and surrounding areas. (See Pics)
Guitar is freshly setup and restrung with 9-54 strings. Includes Original Hard Shell Case.
