Vintage Hamer FBIV built for Eric Brittingham of Cinderella in Classic White finish made in 1988 with Hard Shell Case. This bass guitar features a solid mahogany body, mahogany neck and ebony fingerboard with a reverse headstock. Equipped with a Seymour Duncan Vintage P-Bass in the neck position and a Bill Lawrence 900 R in the bridge position. Controlled by 1 neck volume pot, 1 bridge volume pot and 1 tone pot comprised of its original CTS pots dating to the 31st week of 1987. The 34" scale length neck has mother of pearl boomerang inlays and mother of pearl side markers with 21 medium jumbo frets on a 12" radius with a medium C profile. The hardware is comprised of white/black Hamer sealed die-cast tuning machines with Y heads, a synthetic nut, a Hamer 4-saddle adjustable bridge and black knurled dome knobs.
This bass was built for Eric Brittingham of Cinderella. His name adorns the headstock and it includes a Cinderella pick, signed poster and tour book featuring a photo of Eric with the bass.
This bass guitar is in overall very good condition. The finish is lightly discolored and lightly checked throughout. There are some small chips in the finish around the hardware. The headstock has some small chips. There are some finish chips on the back of the neck with some darker marks. There are some dings and finish chips throughout the body with some dark marks on the bottom. The lower strap button was moved at some point in its life to its current position, leaving the original hole. (See Pics)
Bass is freshly setup and restrung with 45-100 strings. Includes Gibson-branded fitted Hard Shell Case.
