Vintage Gibson Les Paul Deluxe in Cherry Sunburst finish made in 1973 with Hard Shell Case. This guitar features a solid mahogany body w/ maple stringer and a bound maple top, mahogany neck and bound rosewood fingerboard. Equipped with its original set of Gibson "Patent No" Mini-Humbuckers in the neck and bridge positions. Controlled by 2 volume pots, 2 tone pots and a 3-way toggle switch comprised of its original CTS pots dating to the 23rd week of 1973. The 24.75" scale length neck has pearloid trapezoid inlays and tortoise side markers with 22 medium jumbo frets on a 12" radius with a slim taper profile. The hardware is comprised of nickel Gibson Vintage Deluxe tuning machines with keystone heads, a bone nut, a Gibson ABR-1 Tune-O-Matic bridge and gold top hat knobs with a single ply cream pickguard.
This guitar is in overall good condition. At some point in its life it received a refret & new bone nut. There is finish checking on the headstock and body. The finish is worn on the back of the neck/body and sides of the guitar. The back of the body has belt rash and finish chips that go down to the wood. There are light surface marks and small dings throughout. (See Pics)
Guitar is freshly setup and restrung with 10-46 strings. Includes Gibson Custom Shop Thermometer Hard Shell Case.
