Vintage Gibson Les Paul Custom with Vibrola in Ivory finish made in 1983 with Original Hard Shell Case. This guitar features a double bound solid mahogany body with a maple top, 3-Piece maple neck and bound ebony fingerboard with a bound headstock. Equipped with its orginal Gibson Patent Number in the neck position and a later model Gibson 498T in the bridge position. Controlled by 2 volume, 2 tone pots and a 3-Way toggle switch comprised of its original CTS pots dating to the 52nd week of 1982. The 24.75" scale length neck has mother of pearl block inlays and black side markers with 22 medium jumbo frets on a 12" radius with a slim taper profile. The hardware is comprised of gold Gibson "The Crank" tuning machines with keystone heads, a corian nut with string lock, a Gibson branded Kahler Super Tune Vibrola bridge and black speed knobs with a 5-Ply black pickguard.
This guitar is in overall very good condition with signs of play and age. It has surface marks, some belt rash, a few dings/ dents and small finish chips and binding/ seam shrinkage marks and some finish splits along its binding and body edges which two have been filled and sealed to prevent further splitting, but still visible. Guitar is freshly setup and restrung with 10-46 strings. Includes Original Hard Shell chainsaw Case.
