Vintage Gibson ES-335TD in Sunburst finish made in 1974 with original Hardshell Case. This guitar features a Semi-Hollow double bound maple/poplar/maple back & sides body with a laminated maple poplar maple top, mahogany neck and bound rosewood fingerboard. Equipped with it's original Gibson Patent Number humbuckers in the neck position and bridge position. Controlled by 2 volume, 2 tone pots and a 3-Way toggle switch comprised of its original CTS pots dating to 1973. The 24.75" scale length neck has pearloid small block inlays and tortoise side markers, it's received a refret with 22 medium jumbo frets on a 12" radius with a slim taper profile. The hardware is comprised of chrome Gibson Deluxe Double ring, Double Line tuning machines with keystone heads, a new bone nut, converted from vibrato with an upgraded Faber Made in Germany ABR-1 Tune-o-matic bridge with stop tail and gold top hat reflector knobs with a 5-Ply black pickguard.
This guitar is in overall good condition with visible signs of play and age. it's recieved a refret and new bone nut and the bridge and tail piece have been upgraded.The bridge posts habve the common slight lean forward but are stable with no wiggle. It has finish check through out the instrument, some finish splits, scratches , finish wear spots with it worn through on the neck and headstock. Dings/ and some light dents. the original cases handle has been replaced. (See Pics)
Guitar is freshly setup and restrung with 10-46 strings. Includes Original Purple Interior Hardshell Case.
