Vintage Fender Telecaster in Blonde finish made in 1972 with Original Hard Shell Case. This guitar features a solid ash body, maple neck and maple fingerboard. Equipped with a Seymour Duncan STR-1 Vintage '54 Tele single coil in the neck position and a Fender Grey-Bobbin Staggered Pole Telecaster single coil in the bridge position. Controlled by 1 volume pot, 1 tone pot and a 3-way blade switch comprised of its original CTS pots dating to the 32nd week of 1966. The 25.5" scale length neck has black dot inlays and black side markers with 21 medium frets on a 7.25" radius with a medium "C" profile. The hardware is comprised of chrome Fender F-Stamp tuning machines with contemporary cloche heads, a bone nut, a Fender 3-Saddle Adjustable bridge and chrome knurled flat top knobs with a 3-ply white on black pickguard.
This guitar is in overall good condition. There are light scratches, small dimples/dents, finish chips, and surface marks throughout. At some point in its life, the neck received a refret. There is some finish delamination and tooling marks. The frets are flat and dimpled in some spots. There are spots of discoloration throughout the body; it is lighter in some areas and slightly pink in others. A screw hole was filled on the back of the headstock from different tuners at some point in its life; the originals were later re-installed. The string ferrules appear to have been glued into the body at some point in its life. There is some overhang on the treble side of the body in the neck pocket. (See Pics)
Guitar is freshly setup and restrung with 9-42 strings. Includes Original Owner's Manual, Original Hard Shell Case.
