Vintage Fender Jaguar in Candy Apple Red (Custom Color) finish made in 1966 with Original Hard Shell Case. This guitar features a solid alder body, maple neck and bound rosewood fingerboard with a color matched headstock. Equipped with its original set of Fender Grey Bottom Jaguar Single-Coils in the neck and bridge positions. Controlled by 1 master volume pot, 1 master tone pot, 1 Rhythm Volume wheel, 1 Rhythm Tone wheel, Rhythm/Lead 2-way slider & Lead Circuit. The 24" scale length neck has pearloid block inlays and black side markers with 22 medium tall frets on a 7.25" radius with a medium "C" profile. The hardware is comprised of chrome Fender "F" Stamp tuning machines with contemporary cloche heads, a bone nut, a Fender Adjustable "Pat No" bridge w/ Floating Trem & Mute and black Jaguar knobs with a 3-ply white on black pickguard.
This guitar is in overall very good condition for its age. There is some finish checking in various spots, light surface marks and small dings/dents throughout. The treble side of the body has a couple of larger dents and surface discoloration. The finish has aged differently on the top and back; there is a visible line along the top edge of the body where the color changes. The chrome plated pieces have surface marks and scratches. There are some dents and scratches on the fretboard around the 12th fret. (See Pics)
Guitar is freshly setup and restrung with 10-46 strings. Includes Original Hard Shell Case.
