Fender Duo Sonic II White 1965 w/Hard Shell Case (Refin/Mods)

Vintage Fender Duo Sonic II in White finish (refin) made in 1965 with Hard Shell Case. This guitar features a solid alder body, maple neck and rosewood fingerboard. Equipped with a set of Gibson "Patent No" Mini Humbuckers in the neck and bridge positions. Controlled by 1 volume pot, 1 tone pot and 2x individual pickup on/off/on inverted phase. The 24" scale length neck has white dot inlays and white side markers with 22 vintage frets on a 7.25" radius with a medium "C" profile. The hardware is comprised of chrome Schaller sealed die-cast tuning machines with cloche heads, a bone nut, an aftermarket 3-saddle adjustable hard tail bridge and black grip knobs with a 3-ply pearloid pickguard.
This guitar is in overall good condition. It has been refinished and heavily modified. There are small dings and light surface marks throughout. The original slider switches were replaced with 3-way toggles and the pickup slots were routed out to accommodate the larger pickups. The tuners are mounted on an additional piece of wood and the holes were routed to fit. The frets have been leveled and there are some light divots on some of them and on the fretboard. (See Pics)
Guitar is freshly setup and restrung with 10-46 strings. Includes Hard Shell Case.
