ESP USA Custom Shop Random Star Figured Maple Top See-Thru Purple 2000 w/OHSC

ESP USA Custom Shop Random Star in See-Thru Purple finish made in 2000 with Original Hard Shell Case. This guitar features a solid alder body with a figured maple top, maple neck-thru and birdseye maple fingerboard with a reverse, color matched headstock with figured maple overlay. Equipped with a Seymour Duncan SH-1 '59 Model in the neck position, a Seymour Duncan SH-2 Jazz Model in the middle position, and a Seymour Duncan TB-4 JB Model in the bridge position. Controlled by one master volume pot, a 5-way blade switch and a 2-way on/off switch. The 25.5" scale length neck has black custom/ dot inlays with mother of pearl ESP block inlay at the 12th fret and black side markers with 24 extra jumbo frets on a 305mm radius with a Thin U profile. The hardware is comprised of satin chrome Sperzel Trim-Lok tuning machines with cloche heads, a graphite nut, a Wilkinson WVS50 IIK 2 Post Knife Edge Tremolo bridge and a chrome knurled dome knob.

The ESP Hollywood Custom shop made mostly one offs for Artists and Special Clients from the 90's through the early-mid 2000s Before the L.A. Custom Shop opened. The Artist Signature on the headstock is unknown on this model and ESP was unable to confirm who it was built for.

This guitar is in overall good condition. There are light surface marks and small dings throughout. The back and sides have small finish chips. There are some finish chips on the treble side of the neck. The points have small chips/dings and the lower bass-side point has a hole from a previous strap button installation. The back strap button was also relocated at some point in its life to the shoulder and the original hole on the back was filled. There are some divots and flat spots on some of the frets. (See Pics)

Guitar is freshly setup and restrung with 9-42 strings. Includes Original Hard Shell Case.
