ESP MX-250 Custom in Snow White finish made in Kiso Japan in 2003 with Original Hard Shell Case. This guitar features a solid mahogany body, mahogany neck and ebony fingerboard with color matched headstock. Equipped with an active pair of EMG 81s in the neck and bridge position. Controlled by 2-volume knobs and a 3-way toggle switch. The 24.75" scale length neck has mother of pearl dot inlays and 22 extra jumbo frets with a thin U neck profile. The hardware is comprised of black Gotoh sealed die-cast tuning machines, a carbon fiber nut, a Gotoh Tune-o-Matic bridge and stop tail with knurled black dome knobs.
These are some of the rarest ESP guitars nowadays in the USA and arguable the most iconic with James Hetfield playing these across the worlds stages almost exclusively for over a decade. Because of the lawsuit with Gibson After 2000 they were no longer available to the US market and ONLY available as a Custom order to the Japan market.
This guitar is in overall very good condition for it's age, it has light surface scratches and some light dimples on its top, a few light dimples/dings on its back, light surface belt rash you can see under direct light, a few chips on the edges, a very small scratch on the fretboard at the 2nd fret which can not be felt and does not effect playability. The bridge saddles on the bass show have visible wear. The nut has the common finish delam at edge. Some of the cases interior foam has disintegrated in the night cavity and the fabric has been reglued. (See Pics)
Guitar is freshly setup and restrung with 10-46 strings and includes original hard shell case.
