Gibson SG Junior with Vibrola Cherry Finish 1966 w/OHSC

Vintage Gibson SG Junior with Vibrola in Cherry Finish made in 1966 with original Lifton hard shell case. This guitar features a solid mahogany body, mahogany neck and rosewood fingerboard. Equipped with a single original Gibson dog ear P-90 in the bridge position and Controlled by 1 volume and 1 tone pots comprised of its original CTS pots dating to the 7th week of 1966. The 24.75" scale length neck has pearloid dot inlays and 22 medium jumbo frets on a 12" radius with a slim taper profile. The hardware is comprised of Nickel/chrome Kluson deluxe tuning machines with oval heads, a corian nut, a Gibson wrap around bridge with vibrola and top hat reflector knobs with a 2 ply black on white pickguard.

This vintage guitar is in overall very good condition for its age. It has finish check throughout the instrument, some scratches, a few dings/ dimples and some light finish chipping around some of the edges. The fretboard has some grooves formed in it from play. The pickguard tips has a split from shrinkage. (See pics)

Guitar is freshly setup and restrung with 10-46 strings. Includes Original Lifton Hard Shell Case.
