ESP SEC Custom Vintage White 1980s w/OHSC (Mods)

ESP SEC Custom in Vintage White Finish Made in Japan in the mid 1980's with original hard shell case. This guitar features a solid alder body , gloss natural maple neck and maple fingerboard with color matched headstock face. Upgraded in an HS configuration with a zebra Suhr SSH+ humbucker in the bridge position and a dimarzio DP117 HS3 single coil in the neck position. Controlled by one master volume pot and a 3-Way toggle switch. The 25.5" scale length neck has black dot inlays and 22 extra jumbo frets on a 305mm radius with a thin U neck profile. The hardware is comprised of black ESP sealed diecast tuning machines with cloche heads, a Floyd Rose locking nut, a FU-Tone FU2 double locking tremolo with Graphtech string saver saddles, silent springs and a knurled black dome knob with a single ply white pickguard.

Note: Early ESP Guitars can be hard to date as the records were lost during a fire in the late 90s. This neck plate number would make it roughly somewhere in the early to mid 80s, the is a very light faded pencil mark in the neck pocket which appears to be "86" which could be for 1986 would be accurate for the rest of its specs.

This guitar is in overall very good condition for its age with some signs of play.

The pickup routing is factory HH, the neck pickup route was lightly routed at its top edge for a bigger or covered humbucker at some point in its life.

It has some light surface scratches/ marks on the body, some light dimples, picking marks on the guard. most of this can only be seen under direct light. There is also some finish wear and some small chips at the recessed input jack route. (See pics)

Guitar is freshly setup and restrung with 9-42 strings and includes Original Hard Shell Case.
