Gibson Norlin Era SG Standard Cherry 1986 w/Hard Shell Case

Vintage Gibson SG Standard in Cherry finish made in 1986 with Hard Shell Case. This guitar features a solid mahogany body, mahogany neck and bound rosewood fingerboard. Equipped with its original set of Gibson "Patent No" humbuckers in the neck and bridge positions. Controlled by 2 volume pots, 2 tone pots and a 3-Way toggle switch with its original wiring consisting of CTS pots from 1986. The 24.75" scale length neck has pearloid trapezoid inlays and black side markers with 22 medium jumbo frets on a 12" radius with a slim taper profile. The hardware is comprised of chrome Grover Rotomatic tuning machines with kidney heads, a corian nut, a Gibson Nashville Tune-O-Matic bridge and black speed knobs with a 5 ply black on white pickguard.

This guitar is in overall very good condition. The headstock has some light surface marks and some light scratches on the back. The neck has some light surface marks and a small scuff around the 9th fret. One of the knobs has a minor split that speed knobs typically get. The body has minor surface marks and some small dents on the sides. (See pics)

Guitar is freshly setup and restrung with 10-46 strings. Includes Hard Shell Case.
