Vintage Gibson Les Paul Standard in Holly Green Custom Color finish made in 1980 with Original Hard Shell Case. This guitar features a solid mahogany body with a bound maple top, mahogany neck and bound rosewood fingerboard. Equipped with its original Gibson patent stamp humbuckers in the neck position and bridge position dating to 1980. Controlled by 2 volume, 2 tone pots and a 3-Way toggle switch comprised of its original cts pots dating to the 27th week of 1980. The 24.75" scale length neck has pearloid trapezoid inlays, black side markers with 22 medium jumbo frets on a 12" radius with a slim taper profile. The hardware is comprised of chrome Gibson Gibson/ Schaller "Flower" tuning machines with keystone heads, a corian nut, a Gibson nashville Tune-O-Matic bridge and gold speed knobs with a 1-Ply cream pickguard.
One of the Rarest Colors, Gibson only ever produced 25 of the custom color Holly Green Les Pauls from 1980-1981.
This guitar is in overall very good condition with visible signs of play. It has finish check throughout the instrument, surface marks, some light scratchs, several light dings/ dents and two finish chips on its rear lower body edge. (See Pics)
Guitar is freshly setup and restrung with 10-46 strings. Includes Original Hard Shell Case.
