Gibson Les Paul Special Double Cut in TV Yellow finish made in 1996 with Hard Shell Case. This guitar features a solid mahogany body, mahogany neck and bound rosewood fingerboard. Upgraded with a set of Fralin Hum Cancelling P90 single coils in the neck and bridge positions. Controlled by 2 volume, 2 tone pots and a 3-Way toggle switch. The 24.75" scale length neck has pearloid dot inlays and black side markers with 22 medium jumbo frets on a 12" radius with a 50's rounded profile. The hardware is comprised of nickel Gibson Vintage Deluxe tuning machines with oval heads, a TUSQ nut, a Gibson ABR-1 Tune-O-Matic bridge with Tusq saddles and black top hat knobs with a 3 ply black on white pickguard.
This guitar is in overall very good condition. At some point in its life it has had a refret and the nut & saddles were replaced. It has some dings and surface wear throughout the neck and body. There are some larger dents on the back of the neck and around the corners of the body. There is some finish checking on the body near the neck. The pickguard and area around the strings show some picking wear. (See pics)
Guitar is freshly setup and restrung with 10-46 strings. Includes Hard Shell Case.
