Vintage Gibson L-50 in Sunburst finish made in 1949 with Gator Hardshell Case. This guitar features a double bound hollow maple back & sides body with a spruce top, mahogany neck and bound brazilian rosewood fingerboard. The 24.75" scale length neck has pearloid trapezoid inlays and black side markers with 19 vintage frets on a 12" radius with a medium C profile. The hardware is comprised of nickel replica Kluson styles no line single ring tuning machines with keystone heads, a bone nut, an adjustable rosewood base bridge with compensated rosewood saddle, with a 5-Ply black pickguard.
This guitar is in overall good condition with signs of play and age. It has visible finish check throughout the instrument, some finish wear, some scratches/ dings and dents. The tuners were replaced at some point in its life and the end pin under the tailpieces mounting point was plugged and re-drilled for function. There was an additional strap button below the tail piece at some point as well. (See Pics)
Guitar is freshly setup and restrung with 12-53 strings. Includes Gator Hardshell Case.
