Vintage Gibson Firebird III Non-Reverse in Sunburst finish made in 1967 with Original Hard Shell Case(Refret). This guitar features a solid mahogany body, mahogany neck and rosewood fingerboard. Equipped with its original Gibson P-90 single coils in the neck, middle and bridge position. Controlled by 3-Volume, 1 tone pot and a 3-Way toggle switch comprised of 2 of its original CTS pots dating to the 3*th week of 1966 (Two Pots and capacitor replaced. The 24.75" scale length neck has pearloid dot inlays, white side markers with 22 vintage frets on a 12" radius with a slim taper profile. The hardware is retrofitted with a chrome Schaller sealed Die-Cast tuning machines set with cloche heads, a micarta nut, a Gibson compensated wrap around bridge with vibrato tailpiece and gold top hat reflector knobs with a 3-Ply white firebird III pickguard.
This guitar is in overall very good condition with signs of age and play. It has light finish check throughout the body, some light dings, a few finish chips and the finish is lightly worn away across the fretboard edges from fret end work. It's Received a refret at some point in its life and been wired so the middle pickup is out of phase. (See Pics)
Guitar is freshly setup and restrung with 10-46 strings. Includes Original Hard Shell Case and Original
