Gibson Custom Shop Flying V Custom in Alpine White finish made in 2003 with Original Hard Shell Case. This guitar features a bound solid mahogany body, mahogany neck and bound rosewood fingerboard with a bound headstock. Equipped with a Gibson 496R in the neck position and a Gibson 498T in the bridge position. Controlled by 2 volume, 1 tone pot and a 3-Way toggle switch. The 24.75" scale length neck has mother of pearl block inlays and black side markers with 22 medium jumbo frets on a 12" radius with a medium C profile. The hardware is comprised of chrome Grover Rotomatic tuning machines with kidney heads, a corian nut, a Gibson ABR-1 Tune-O-Matic bridge and top hat reflector knobs with a 4 ply white on black pickguard.
This guitar is in overall very good condition. The front of the headstock has some indentations from a clip-on tuner and some surface marks and scratches throughout. There is stand rash on the back of the neck and some indentations on the tip of the headstock. The sides of the neck have some surface marks and a dent at the 12th fret. The back of the neck has some small dents and surface marks. The body had a flame sticker applied to it at some point in its life, leaving a faint outline. The sides of the body have small dents and dings, particularly towards the lower ends of the points. (See pics)
Guitar is freshly setup and restrung with 10-46 strings. Includes Original Hard Shell Case, COA, Original Case Candy.
