Fender Pre-CBS Stratocaster 2-Color Sunburst 1957 w/OHSC

Vintage Fender Pre-CBS Stratocaster in 2-Tone Sunburst finish made in 1957 with Original Hard Shell Case. This guitar features a solid alder body, maple neck and maple fingerboard. Equipped with its original set of Fender black bobbin single coil strat pickings in the neck, middle and bridge position. Controlled by 1 volume, 2 tone pots and a 3-Way blade switch comprised of irs original Centralab pots dating to the 23rd week of 1957. The 25.5" scale length neck has black dot inlays and black side markers. It's received a Refret with 21 jumbo frets on a 7.25" radius with a soft V profile. The hardware is comprised of its original nickel patent number Kluson deluxe single line tuning machines with oval heads, a bone nut, a Fender patent pending 6-Screw tremolo, and white skirted green number knobs with a 1-Ply white bakelite pickguard.

This vintage guitar is in overall very good condition. It has received a refret along with a bone nut. It had a 5-way switch installed at some point but the original 3-way was in the case still and we reinstalled it back to factory. It has finish check throughout the instrument, finish wear, worn through on a few spots on its back, scuffs scratches and some finish chips. The rear Bakelite trem cover has one corner chipped off. Guitar is freshly setup and restrung with 9-42 strings. Includes Original Hard Shell Case, Original Strap. The Original frets/ nut are included.
