Vintage Charvel Model 5 in Cobalt Blue finish made in 1987 with Original Hard Shell Case. This guitar features a solid poplar body, rock maple neck-thru and quartersawn rosewood fingerboard. Equipped with its original set of Jackson J80C humbuckers in the neck and bridge positions. Controlled by 1 volume pot, 1 tone pot, 1 gain pot and a 5-Way blade switch with its original JE 1000TG Low Impedance electronics. The 25.5" scale length neck has white dot inlays and white side markers with 24 jumbo frets on a compound 12"-16" radius with a speed profile. The hardware is comprised of black Jackson sealed die-cast tuning machines with cloche heads, a carbon fiber nut, a Jackson JT-6 Locking Tremolo bridge and black knurled dome knobs.
This guitar is in overall good condition. The headstock is dented on the top corner and has some light surface marks. There is a dent on the 3rd fret near the fret marker. The body has light surface marks throughout and a few dents on the top, sides, and back. The neck pickup is lightly discolored and some of the Jackson branding has faded off. The bridge has some rust on the fine tuners. (See pics)
Guitar is freshly setup and restrung with 9-42 strings. Includes Original Hard Shell Case.
