Regular price $3,145.00Vintage Gibson US-1 Flame Maple Top in Heritage Cherry Sunburst finish made in 1986 with Original Hard Shell Case. This guitar features a double bound solid basswood body frame with a balsa core body with a bound flamed maple top, mahogany neck and bound rosewood fingerboard with a bound headstock. Equipped with a pair of vintage Seymour Duncan 1R single coils(SSL1) in the neck /middle position and a Gibson patent stamp Humbucker in the bridge position. Controlled by 1 volume, 1 tone pot and a 3-Pickup on/off mini toggle with push/push volume coil tap. The 25.5" scale length neck has mother of pearl split diamond inlays and black side markers with 24 medium jumbo frets on a 12" radius with a slim taper profile. The hardware is comprised of gold Grover Mini-Rotomatic tuning machines with mini kidney bean heads, a nylon nut, a Gibson ABR-1 Tune-O-Matic bridge, and black speed knobs.
This guitar is in overall very good condition with signs of play. It has light belt rash on its back, some light dings/ dents /dimples, a few finish nics, surface marks and some light surface scratches. This guitar received a Plek service in 2020.(See Pics)
Guitar is freshly setup and restrung with 9-42 strings. Includes Original Hard Shell Case and Plek service cert.
