Vintage Fernandes FST40 "Stone Logo" in White finish made in 1979 with Original Hard Shell Case. This guitar features a solid alder body, maple neck and rosewood fingerboard. Equipped with a set of Fernandes Single Coil pickups in the neck, middle, and bridge positions. Controlled by 1 volume pot, 2 tone pots and a 3-way blade switch. The 25.5" scale length neck has white dot inlays and black side markers with 21 medium jumbo frets on a 7.25" radius with a slim C profile. The hardware is comprised of nickel Fernandes sealed die-cast tuning machines with cloche heads, a synthetic bone nut, a Fernandes adjustable tremolo bridge and white top hat knobs with a 4 ply white on black pickguard.
This guitar is in overall very good condition. The bridge saddles, output jack, and volume pot were replaced prior to arriving to us; the originals are included. The screwholes for the trem claw were stripped and repaired with dowels in-house by our luthier. The body has light surface marks and some dings throughout. There are small cracks on the pickguard near the truss rod adjustment screw. The fretboard has some light marks and areas of discoloration. There is a larger dent/chip on the side of the lower bout near the controls. The plating on the hardware shows pitting and age/rust. (See pics)
Guitar is freshly setup and restrung with 9-42 strings. Includes Original Hard Shell Case.
