Fender Custom Shop Robert Cray Signature Stratocaster in Violet finish made in 2006 with Original Hard Shell Case. This guitar features a solid alder body, birdseye maple neck and rosewood fingerboard with a Robert Cray signature headstock. Equipped with a set of Fender Custom Vintage-Style Single-Coil Strat in the neck, middle, and bridge positions. Controlled by 1 volume pot, 2 tone pots and a 5-Way blade switch. The 25.5" scale length neck has acrylic dot inlays and white side markers with 21 Vintage Spec frets on a 9.5" radius with a 1961 "C" profile. The hardware is comprised of gold Fender Vintage-Style tuning machines with oval heads, a synthetic bone nut, a Fender 6-Saddle American Vintage Strings-Through-Body Strat hardtail bridge and white top hat knobs with a 4 ply white on black pickguard.
This guitar is in overall excellent condition. There is a small chip above the nut on the headstock and there are some signs of play on some of the frets. The bridge, output jack, and neck plate all show signs of age and have finish wear. The body has some light surface marks and very small finish marks. (See pics)
Guitar is freshly setup and restrung with 9-42 strings. Includes Original Hard Shell Case, Signed by Robert Cray.
