ESP Custom Shop James Hetfield JH-1 in Black w/ Flame Graphic finish #003/200 made in 1997 with Original Hard Shell Case. This guitar features a solid mahogany body, maple neck, rosewood fingerboard and graphic matched headstock. Equipped with an EMG 60 in the neck position and an EMG 81 in the bridge position. Controlled by 1 volume pot, 1 tone pot and a 3-Way toggle switch. The 24.75" scale length neck has abalone M star & arrow inlays and white side markers with 22 extra jumbo frets on a 305mm radius with a thin U profile. The hardware is comprised of black Sperzel Trim-Lok tuning machines with keystone heads, a bone nut, a Gotoh Tune-o-matic bridge and black knurled dome knobs.

This is a limited edition James Hetfield of Metallica signature from 1997. It is #003 of 200. James is seen playing the green version of the guitar in the "Whiskey In The Jar" music video.

This guitar is in overall excellent condition. The body, headstock and neck show light surface marks. There is some wear on the hardware, including the neck plate, output jack and tailpiece. The fretboard appears to have had some work on it which can be seen in direct light. (See pics)

Guitar is freshly setup and restrung with 10-46 strings. Includes Original Hard Shell Case, Certificate of Authenticity.
