B.C. Rich USA Mockingbird Archtop Supreme Millennial, one-off built for the year 2000 with AAAA Flame Maple Top in Natural Finish with original hard shell case, signed by Bernie Rico Sr. This guitar features a solid koa body with a bound arched AAAA flamed maple top, koa neck-thru and bound ebony fingerboard with a bound, AAAA flame maple overlay headstock. Upgraded with active EMG pickups, an 85 in the neck position and an 81 in the bridge position. Controlled by 2 volume pots, 2 tone pots and a 3-Way toggle switch. The 24.75" scale length neck has abalone cloud inlays with "GP" at 12th fret and 22 jumbo frets on a 12" radius with a medium C profile. The hardware is comprised of chrome Grover Rotomatic tuning machines with imperial heads, a bone nut, a Tune-o-Matic bridge with stop tail and black speed knobs.
Hand made and signed by Bernardo Rico Sr. Made to "Les Paul" specifications for a friend and business partner, "GP" being his initials. Rico Sr. made this for a friend & business associate from the largest music store in San Francisco which is now a Guitar Center. For the millennium, the friend requested a Mockingbird made to more traditional Les Paul specs, including scale, thickness and hardware. This is the only 4 digit B.C. Rich serial which is stamped "2000". Bernie unfortunately died in early December of 1999 before the new year came.
This guitar is in overall excellent condition with some signs of play. It has some surface marks/light surface scratches and some light dimples that can be seen under direct light. (See pics)
Guitar is freshly setup and restrung with 10-46 strings. Includes Original Hard Shell Case.
