Rickenbacher Hawaiian Lap Steel 1938 w/Hard Shell Case

Vintage Rickenbacher Hawaiian Lap Steel in Natural finish made in 1938 with Hard Shell Case. This guitar features a hollow stamped steel body, stamped steel neck and fingerboard. Equipped with a Rickenbacher Horseshoe in the bridge position, controlled by one volume pot and one 4-way varitone pot. The 22.5" scale length neck has dot inlays and no side markers with 36 stamped frets on a flat radius. The hardware is comprised of nickel Grover open gear tuning machines with butterbean heads, a steel nut, a Rickenbacher saddle bridge and chicken head knobs.

This guitar is in overall good condition. The bridge and nut appear to have been painted red at some point in its life. There are marks and plating chips throughout the neck and body. The guitar arrived to us without knobs and were replaced by our luthiers. (See pics)

Guitar is freshly setup and restrung with 13-56 strings. Includes Hard Shell Case.
