Vintage National Westwood 72 "Map" in Cream finish made in 1962 with Gigbag. This guitar features a chambered alder body, maple neck and bound rosewood fingerboard with a bound headstock. Equipped with its original humbucker in the neck position. Controlled by one master volume pot and a 3-Way blade tone switch w/ 3 tone switch volume pots comprised of its original Stackpole pots dating to 1961. The 24.75" scale length neck has white block inlays and black side markers with 20 vintage frets on a 9.5" radius with a zero fret and medium C profile. The hardware is comprised of chrome Grover "Patent Pending" tuning machines with kidney heads, a bone nut, a Gotoh Tune-O-Matic bridge w/ original ebony base & tailpiece and black grip/witch hat knobs with a plexi pickguard.
This guitar is in overall good condition. There is finish checking throughout the neck and body. The original bridge was upgraded to a Gotoh Tune-O-Matic and the tuning machines were replaced with Grovers, leaving behind the original screw holes.
