Guild X-170 Manhattan in Antique Sunburst finish made in 1998 with Original Hard Shell Case. This guitar features a double bound semi-hollow laminated maple back & sides body with a figured maple top, figured maple neck w/ walnut stringer and bound rosewood fingerboard. Equipped with a set of humbucker-sized P90-style pickups in the neck and bridge positions. Controlled by 2 volume pots, 2 tone pots and a 3-way toggle switch. The 24.75" scale length neck has pearloid block inlays and black side markers with 20 medium frets on a 14" radius with a thin U profile. The hardware is comprised of gold Grover Rotomatic Locking tuning machines with kidney heads, a bone nut, a Guild Nashville Tune-O-Matic bridge w/ rosewood base & Harp tailpiece and black top hat reflector knobs with a single ply black pickguard.
This guitar is in overall very good condition. The headstock has some light dings around the corners and light surface marks throughout. There are a few spots on the neck with light surface marks on the back. The neck binding is discolored and separating slightly in spots from shrinkage. The gold plating on the bridge and pickups is worn down. There is some oxidization on the tailpiece & pickguard support. The back of the body has some buckle rash that goes into the wood. There are light surface marks throughout the rest of the body. (See Pics)
Guitar is freshly setup and restrung with 10-46 strings. Includes Original Hard Shell Case & original tuning machines.
