Vintage Gibson L6-S Custom in Tobacco Burst finish made in 1978 with Hard Shell Case. This guitar features a solid 3-piece maple body, 3-piece maple neck w/ volute and ebony fingerboard. Equipped with a set of passive Select by EMG humbuckers in the neck and bridge positions. Controlled by 2 volume pots, 1 tone pot and a 3-way toggle switch. The 24.75" scale length neck has pearloid dot inlays and white side markers with 24 medium jumbo frets on a 12" radius with a medium C profile. The hardware is comprised of chrome Gibson sealed die-cast tuning machines with keystone heads, a corian nut, a Gibson Harmonica bridge w/ stop bar tailpiece and black speed knobs with a 5-ply black on white pickguard.
This guitar is in overall good condition. Prior to arriving to us, the original pickups were changed out to the current set of EMGs and the rotary dial was changed to a toggle switch. It has dents and finish chips on the headstock, neck, and body, especially around the edges. The headstock finish is worn and the fretboard has grooves on some of the frets. The knobs have yellowed over time. (See pics)
Guitar is freshly setup and restrung with 10-46 strings. Includes Hard Shell Case.
