The Gibson GA-20RVT "Minuteman" is a 12-watt all-tube combo produced from 1965 to 1967, offering lush onboard reverb and tremolo with a distinctly warm, mid-forward voice. Designed during the height of Gibson's Kalamazoo amplifier era, the Minuteman delivered American tube tone through a compact, studio-friendly platform — pairing dual EL84 power tubes with hand-wired circuitry and a single 12″ speaker for authentic 1960s character.
This example, serial A027983, dates to approximately 1966 and remains in very good vintage condition overall. The original textured black tolex, silver sparkle grille cloth, and "Gibson" script logo are intact, showing moderate age-appropriate wear including small scuffs to the tolex, minor corrosion on hardware, and light discoloration on the control panel. The original knobs, handle, and chassis faceplate are all present. All functions — including reverb and tremolo — are fully operational, and the original two-button footswitch is included.
