Vintage Fender Stratocaster in 3-Tone Sunburst finish made in 1977 with Original Hard Shell Case. This guitar features a solid ash body, maple neck and rosewood fingerboard. Upgraded with a set of GFS 60's-70's Grey Bottom Non-Stagger "Texas" single coil pickups in the neck, middle, and bridge positions. Controlled by 1 volume pot, 2 tone pots and a 5-Way blade switch comprised of two of its original CTS pots dating to the 9th week of 1977; 1 tone pot was replaced. The 25.5" scale length neck has clay dot inlays and black side markers with 21 Vintage frets on a 7.25" radius with a medium C profile. The hardware is comprised of chrome Fender "F" Stamp tuning machines with contemporary cloche heads, a bone nut, a Fender die-cast tremolo bridge and white top hat knobs with a 3 ply white on black pickguard.
This guitar is in player's grade vintage overall good condition for its age . It is in excellent working and playing condition with minor indentations and scuffs on the back of the neck. The body has finish wear/chipping, light dents, and surface marks throughout. The headstock has some minor burn marks and dings around the edges. The pickups and one of the tone pots were replaced. One of the case latches is broken. (See pics)
Guitar is freshly setup and restrung with 9-42 strings. Includes Original Hard Shell Case.
