Fender MIJ Yngwie Malmsteen Standard Stratocaster Sonic Blue 1990 w/OHSC

Fender Yngwie Malmsteen Standard Stratocaster in Sonic Blue finish made in 1990 with Original Hard Shell Case. This guitar features a solid basswood body, maple neck and a scalloped maple fingerboard with a large headstock w/ Yngwie Malmsteen signature. Upgraded with a DiMarzio HS-4 in the neck position, a DiMarzio HS-4 in the middle position, and a DiMarzio HS-3 in the bridge position. Controlled by 1 volume pot, 2 tone pots and a 5-Way blade switch. The 25.5" scale length neck has black dot inlays and black side markers with 21 medium jumbo frets on a 10" radius with a Special "U" profile. The hardware is comprised of chrome Gotoh sealed die-cast tuning machines with cloche heads, a brass nut, a Fender 2-Point Synchronized Tremolo bridge w/ block saddles and black top hat knobs with a 3 ply white on black pickguard.

This guitar is in overall very good condition. It has what appears to be a worn-down Yngwie signature on the upper horn, but we can't confirm it. The Sonic Blue color has aged into a seafoam green-like color, but the Sonic Blue color is in the neck pocket. The body has some light dings and surface marks on all sides. The back of the neck has some light surface marks. There is a square patch of lighter finish on the back of the headstock. (See pics)

Guitar is freshly setup and restrung with 9-42 strings. Includes Original Hard Shell Case.
