The Fender Blues Junior Lacquered Tweed is a 15-watt, single-channel all-tube combo that brings vintage Fender tone and style into a compact, gig-ready package. Dressed in authentic lacquered tweed with a vintage-style grille cloth, this model captures the look and warmth of late-'50s Fender combos while offering modern reliability and portability.
Powered by a pair of EL84s and three 12AX7 preamp tubes, the Blues Junior delivers a rich, harmonically complex midrange and dynamic breakup that responds beautifully to pick attack and guitar volume. Its simple six-knob control layout—Volume, Treble, Bass, Middle, Master, and Reverb—along with a "Fat" switch for mid boost, makes it easy to dial in tones ranging from sparkling cleans to classic tweed grit.
This 2014 example is in very good condition overall, showing light cosmetic wear typical of lacquered tweed finishes including small scuffs, edge marks, and light corner wear. The amp remains fully functional and sounds excellent, with the tweed lacquer developing a subtle amber patina.
Specifications
Condition
Used, in very good condition. Light cosmetic wear consistent with age, including small lacquer scuffs, corner wear, and light marks to the tweed. No major damage or structural issues. Fully tested, functions perfectly, and maintains a clean aesthetic with beautiful aged lacquer sheen.
