ESP Pre Lawsuit Era LPS500 Custom Order Quilted Maple Top in Transparent Black finish made in Early 1990s with Hard Shell Case. This guitar features a solid mahogany body with a bound quilted maple top, mahogany neck and bound rosewood fingerboard with a color matched quilted maple overlay headstock. Equipped with a Seymour Duncan SH55 seth lover in the neck position and a Seymour Duncan SH55 seth lover in the bridge position. Controlled by 2 volume, 2 tone pots and a 3-Way toggle switch. The 24.75" scale length neck has no inlays, black side markers with 22 medium jumbo frets on a 305mm radius with a thin U profile. The hardware is comprised of nickel/chrome gotoh MG-T locking tuning machines with keystone heads, a bone nut, a gotoh Tune-o-matic bridge and gold top hat knobs.
This Guitar has no visible serial number and we believe this is an early 90's custom order. Based on its pre lawsuit 4 knob layout and pre Eclipse, Gibson les paul standard headstock and body cuts pre date the Eclipse's modified shape as we know it from 1995 and on. The 4- knob layout remained for several more years into the 2000s, but the headstock shape and body shape pre dates the Eclipse.
This guitar is in overall very good condition with some visible signs of play. It has some surface, marks, some light scratches, and some dings, light dents and dimples on its body and back of neck. The input jacks plastic plate as some stress splits in it but in one piece. The top headstock edge has some small nics and small chips.(See Pics)
Guitar is freshly setup and restrung with 10-46 strings. Includes Hard Shell Case.
