Epiphone '63 Firebird-VII in Vintage Sunburst finish made in 2004 with Hard Shell Case. This guitar features a solid mahogany body, mahogany neck and bound rosewood fingerboard. Equipped with a set of three Epiphone Alnico-V Mini Humbuckers in the neck, middle, and bridge positions. Controlled by 3 volume pots, 1 tone pot and a 3-Way toggle switch. The 24.75" scale length neck has pearloid block inlays and black side markers with 22 medium jumbo frets on a 12" radius with a slim taper profile. The hardware is comprised of gold Grover Rotomatic tuning machines with kidney heads, a plastic nut, a Tune-o-Matic bridge with an Epiphone Maestro Lyre Vibrola and top hat reflector knobs with a single ply white pickguard.
This guitar is in overall very good condition. The previous owner replaced the truss rod cover with a Gibson-branded one, but the original Epiphone cover is included in the case. The headstock has some light surface marks on the front and back and there is a scuff on the top edge. The body has a few minor dings and surface marks. There is a finish split on the bass side of the front of the body. Some of the gold hardware has oxidized over time. (See pics)
Guitar is freshly setup and restrung with 10-46 strings. Includes Epiphone Firebird-fitted Hard Shell Case.
