Caparison TAT Special FM in Transparent Black finish made in 2006 with Original Hard Shell Case. This guitar features a solid mahogany body with a flamed maple top, 5-piece maple/walnut neck-thru and bound ebony fingerboard with a bound headstock. Equipped with a Caparison PH-27F in the neck position and a Bare Knuckle Riff Raff in the bridge position. Controlled by 1 volume pot, 1 tone pot and a 5-way blade switch with coil tap on positions 2 & 4. The 25.5" scale length neck has mother of pearl clock inlays and black side markers with 27 jumbo frets on a compound 350mm-400mm radius with a medium C profile. The hardware is comprised of black Gotoh sealed die-cast tuning machines with cloche heads, a Schaller R2 locking nut, a Schaller FRT-II Tremolo bridge and black knurled dome knobs.
This guitar is in overall excellent condition. The headstock has some light surface marks on the front and some discoloration on the binding. The back of the body has light surface marks on the horns and on the heel of the neck. There is a small finish chip on the treble side of the body near the control cavity. There is a small dent below the control cavity. The top has some light picking and surface marks. (See pics)
Guitar is freshly setup and restrung with 9-42 strings. Includes Original Hard Shell Case and Original Case Candy.
