Bernie Rico Jr USA Custom Shop Hyde Spalted Maple Top Natural 2012 w/Hard Shell Case

Bernie Rico Jr Hyde in Natural finish made in 2012 with Hard Shell Case. This guitar features a solid mahogany body with a bound spalted maple top, maple neck and ebony fingerboard with a reverse/bound/spalted maple overlay headstock. Equipped with a DiMarzio PAF 36th Anniversary in the neck position and a DiMarzio Super Distortion in the bridge position. Controlled by 1 volume pot, 1 tone pot and a 3-way toggle switch. The 25.5" scale length neck has abalone split diamond inlays and white side markers with 24 medium jumbo frets on a 12" radius with a thin C profile. The hardware is comprised of black Hipshot Grip Lock tuning machines with cloche heads, a graphite nut, a Kahler Quad bridge and black knurled flat top knobs.

This guitar is in overall excellent condition. The back of the headstock is signed by Bernie Rico Jr. The tip has a small ding and there are light surface marks on the back of the neck. The top strap button was relocated from the upper horn to a flush-mounted style in the neck; the original hole was filled with a screw. The back of the body has some light surface marks that can be seen in direct light and a small ding near the lower strap button. (See pics)

Guitar is freshly setup and restrung with 9-42 strings. Includes Hard Shell Case.
