This guitar features a solid mahogany\/maple\/mahogany sandwich body with a bound 5-Piece maple top, 3-Piece mahogany neck and bound rosewood fingerboard. Equipped with a Gibson Patent Number Humbucker in the neck position and a DiMarzio Super Distortion in the bridge position. Controlled by 2 volume, 2 tone pots, and a 3-Way toggle switch comprised of CTS pots dating to the 44th week of 1973 and one replaced pot dating to 1979 . The 24.75\" scale length neck has pearloid trapezoid inlays and black side markers with 22 vintage frets on a 12\" radius with a slim taper profile. The hardware is comprised of chrome Grover Rotomatic tuning machines with kidney heads, a corian nut, a Gibson Nashville Tune-O-Matic Bridge and gold speed knobs with a 1-Ply cream pickguard.\n \u003cbr\u003e\n \u003cbr\u003e\n This guitar is in overall good condition with visible signs of wear and age. This guitar appears to have started it‘s life as a les paul deluxe and was converted to a les paul standard. the pickup routes have been modified from the mini Humbucker routes and mouting holes to fit standard humbuckers and the bridge‘s posts have been doweled, re aligned and lacquered over. This is a players grade vintage, with its custom made fitted anvil case and vintage 70s woven leather strap this appears to have been a touring guitar and seen a lot of use. It has finish checking throughout the instrument, there are several large worn spots through the finish with finish delamination around their edges, mostly on its back. The necks finish is worn away in spots across the binding, It has scratches, dings\/ dents and finish chips.  Its had at least 3 different sets of tuners in its life and has the original\/ 2nd set and current sets mounting holes. One corner on The anvil cases lid has started to come loose but still hold the guitar fine.
